Adding to its vast online slots portfolio, Pragmatic Play has released its latest title, Gates of Olympus, inviting players of all skill levels to journey to the mythical home of the Greek god Zeus. The launch is on the heels of the multi-product content provider’s global roll-out of its new live casino product, Mega Roulette, after a brief period of exclusivity with select operators in Latin America.
The highly volatile, 5-reel, 6-row video slot features what appears to be a very angry Zeus, complete with fierce glowing blue eyes ready to make use of his legendary thunderbolt! Players who enter the 20-payline realm of the god of the sky can expect symbols to come tumbling down, paying in clusters of a minimum of eight in a “Pay Anywhere” system.
“alluring gameplay and unique systems at play”
Chaos is sure to ensue, with the combination of the unique system, cascades, and Zeus’ gifts of four multiplier symbols, which, when the winged gemstones land on the reels display random values of 2x to 500x.
Players will find the mighty Zeus hovering on the right of the grid located in Mount Olympus in the bonus round, which is activated when 4 or more Zeus Scatter symbols land, while the multiplier increases with each additional Scatter. When that happens, players are granted 15 extra spins, with all multipliers that land added to the “progressive global multiplier” for tremendous prizes.
Gates of Olympus follows other recent popular releases The Hand of Midas, Eye of the Storm, and Madame Destiny Megaways, and according to Pragmatic’s Chief Business Development Officer Yossi Barzely, is the provider’s latest title to “draw influence from Greek mythology, and looks likely to be our strongest yet.”
Adding to the press release for the new launch, Barzely says the combination of “alluring gameplay and unique systems,” the Pays Anywhere function sees a “whole new dynamic” added to the game. And that the content provider expects its “players across the globe to really enjoy this addition.”
Global Mega Roulette launch:
Meanwhile, Pragmatic has taken its newest live dealer casino product, Mega Roulette, global after having spent a period of exclusivity with some of its “most valued” LatAm operators, including Bplay in Argentina, Bplay Paraguay, SellatuParley in Venezuela, and with BetConnections across various markets in the region.
One of its most anticipated launches of the year, the new single-zero roulette game is a twist on the classic roulette experience, adding slot-style multipliers, features, and win chances, taking it to a distinctive level. On every spin, the game also allows as many as five multipliers to be randomly applied to straight-up bets. The multipliers award up to 500x for massive win potential.
The new product allows players to place “Mega Bets,” via familiar bets such as Columns, Mega Chances, and Dozens to enable even easier access to Mega Roulettes’ huge payouts. Like all of the provider’s live casino products, the roulette game is broadcast from the firm’s purpose-built studio, while a user-friendly interface enables players to enjoy enhanced gameplay.
Barzely says they are “extremely proud” to launch the live casino game, which provides players with a detailed bet history, as well as professionally trained hosts. Available 24/7, Barzley adds that Pragmatic has reinvented a classic title, making it “bigger and better,” with “giant Mega Multipliers” that are able to boost any win by as much as 500x, “giving players a shot at huge wins of a single spin.”
The company, he says, “can’t wait to see how it is received” by its operator partners around the globe.
New hire:
In a February 25th announcement, Pragmatic revealed the appointment of new Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Operations, former Head of Gaming Product for UK-based Rank Digital, 39-year-old Bhotesh Maheshwari.
Looking to further cement its position as a leading supplier in regulated markets, Maheshwari, who will also head Pragmatic’s Gibraltar office, which serves German, UK, Spanish, and Portuguese operators, will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations and “building closer product partnerships” with top-tier operators across Europe, while also growing the company’s presence in newly regulated territories worldwide, according to the company’s news release.
