The Wynn Summer Classic is a traditional poker series that takes place at the Wynn Las Vegas each year. For 2021, the series will run from May 27 to July 13. There will be 30 events on the schedule with over $16 million in total prize money awarded. Along with the traditional schedule, Wynn has decided to shake things up and offer a new event called Wynn Millions. This event is sure to bring in even more players to the highly anticipated series.

Wynn Summer Classic

Players will be able to head to Wynn Las Vegas in less than a month to take part in the Summer Classic. There are many events to compete in, including the kickoff tournament. The first event on the schedule has a buy-in of $1,100 and features a $1 million prize pool.

Additional $1 million events can be found on the schedule in June and July. In June, players can buy in for $1,600 to compete for $1 million while July begins with an event that offers $1.5 million in prize money with the same $1,600 buy-in. Up the ante and pay $3,500 to compete in yet another $1 million event on July 7-8.

There will be a nice mix of events to choose from including other formats such as HORSE, Omaha 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha, a ladies event, and a seniors option.

Wynn Millions Features $10K Prize Pool

During this year’s Wynn Summer Classic, players will be able to compete in a new event, the Wynn Millions. This event has a $10,000 buy-in and features a huge, guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000. This event is scheduled for June 25 to July 2.

The poker event will be the largest ever offered by Wynn Las Vegas. Ryan Beauregard, the casino’s executive director of poker operations, stated that in its first year, the venue expects the event to attract both professional poker players and seasoned amateurs from around the world.

The venue hopes to make the Wynn Millions a staple even for many years to come. Players who compete will be given 40,000 in starting chips and blind levels will start at 60 minutes. Levels will eventually go up to 90 minutes.

There will be three starting flights with each flight having its own Day 2. The field will come together on Day 3 to determine the winner.

The Summer Classic will start just a few months after the Wynn Spring Classic finished up. The spring series offered events from March 3-22 and provided over $2.5 million in total prize money.
