In addition to launching its highly anticipated Legends tournament on September 15, casino software developer Playson has now released its latest title, Rise of Egypt Deluxe.
An updated version of the Malta-based studio’s original Egypt-themed slot released in July 2018, the new 3-reel, 5-row game has 20 pay lines and is set in the mysterious land of pyramids and gods.
Playson ramps up the level of excitement here, adding a buy-on-demand feature, a first for the developer, that allows players to purchase game features such as Extra Spins.
Symbols upgrade:
As in the original video slot, a cat goddess Egyptian Bastet serves as the game’s Wild symbol and replaces all symbols with the exception of the Scatter. When the cat goddess appears, it expands to cover the entire reel if it can spark a winning combination, appearing on reels 2, 3, and 4.
A dozen Extra Spins are triggered when three or more Scatter symbols land, and to boost the excitement further during Extra Spins, a re-trigger is granted by the Wild symbol. In doing so, lower pay symbols are upgraded to high pays just prior to the payment of winnings. The result of the clever switch is that only the highest value symbols land during the bonus mode.

Legends tournament:
After recently wrapping up its Playson CashDays network tournament, that saw 200 lucky fans take home a share of a massive €40,000 prize pool, the game developer launched its Legends tournament, which runs from September 15 – 21st and provides 300 lucky players with an even bigger prize pot of €60,000!
Points are tabulated round-by-round, with every €1 equal to 10 points and providing every person who participates in the tournament with the chance to become a “Playson Legend.”
